Eli was 7 lbs 5 oz at birth... brought him home at 6lbs 12oz and at 2 weeks he was 7lbs 13oz.. his new nickname is Tank. Peanut is still tiny and sweet, Ian is a great big brother... they are growing like weeds.

We blessed Eli on the 4th and it was amazing. Brian gave a beautiful blessing. There were lots of family me,bers there to support us. I was the cheesy mom and we all matched. Brian and Ian had matching ties, Eli bow tie, i found a really cute long shirt at Old Navy for $2.00 for Peanut and sewed a matching ruffle on the bottom, and Peanut and i had super cute matching necklaces with the last of the fabric. We were so CUTE!!

Surgury went great - baby boy was not ready to come out! It took the Doctor Switzer 15 minutes to get him turned so they could cut and then 20 minutes to get him out. He was holding on to ever organ he could find! Ironwood hospital was great - it was very mommy and baby. I got to see his first bath and he was with me the whole time. He is a very very sweet boy.

1st Day of School

What a busy month we have had! Ian had his first day of Kindergarten on July 28th. Cant beleive that my little boy is old enough to start school. I was a brave mommy. I did majority of the crying at nights when he was in bed. He was very excited and brave when we got to school. He found on of the kids Evan that he had met at the open house so he had a friend already. His teacher is super cute, Miss Carlson and he really likes her. When it was time to go to class, he hugged me, gave me a kiss and said see you later. I was still brave but when i got to the car... i lost it. Plus i was 9 months pregnant... im aloud to cry!!

TOOTHLESS

Ian lost his first and his second tooth with in a week of eachother. He really is the cutest little toothless thing. His top two teeth are loose and he went t the dentist last week and he said that in the next 6 months he will loose 4. He will have the kindergarten pictures with no teeth. He is so cute!! I made him this little tooth pillow that has a pocket on the back so he puts his tooth in there and the tooth fairy leaves him money! He really like the whole money idea!

PEANUTS ROOM

Peanut got her new big girl bed and bedding a little while ago and it did not match her room anymore. So of course... 30 weeks pregnant and nesting, why not paint it!! I matched all the colors of her comforter to the checkers on the wall - yes it took forever to match. Brian taped and in 3 hours the room was all painted, the next day all put back together... with a small break when Peanut swallowed a penny and we got to take a nice trip to the ER, pictures to follow soon. Now she is fine, the room is awesome, she says it is her punk rocker room, and of course we had to put Rupuzel up, Tangeled is the movei of the year at our house!

PREGO

Sorry i have slacked with the belly pictures... here they are... i am 33 weeks today and counting. Ian starts school on babys due date, July 28, so if everything goes good and this little boy stays cooking, he is scheduled to come a day late... July 29 at 8am. The doctors said ok to go late since i do not go into labor or diolate so fingers crossed. i really do not want to miss his first day of Kindergarten and yes i will be a mess with lots of happy tears.

CRAZY GIRL

We have spent a lot of time at the pool and even when we are not there, Peanut still loves to wear gogels. She is a very silly girl. Lots of personality and very petite. She is a joy in our family and never a boaring moment with her around!

IANS MILESTONES

Ian is having to grow up so fast. This year alone, he turned 5, graduated from PRESCHOOL, learned how to swim, lost not one but two teeth, starting kindergarten, getting a little brother and getting moved to the back of the car. In 7 weeks he will be in school and we will be home with a fresh little boy. He is growing up to fast. He is ready and he is a tuff kid. He cant wait to be a big brother. He is very excitedd to have baby boy in his room and he helped arrange his room with his bed and the crib and helped me pick out bedding. he said he would get up with baby in the night so that i can sleep. He is so tender and caring!

to playing with rattle snakes, picnics IN the river, cleaning eachothers ouses so we could make it to the pool in time, dressing up your brother in bras and skirts and painting his nails... still sorry Tim... to running over my head with a banana seat bike, yes i still have the hole and the scar on my forehead... and when my parents siad that we were moving and my world came crashing down, you were there for me and we promised to always be best friends. Over the years we have done just that. We have taken turns going to see eachother, buying matching outfits at the mall... burning like lobsters next to the pool, well one of us...

and always putting eachother first. Of all the things that we had planned and played since kids, the most importants was and had always been our weddings. We went from Barbies getting married, to our dolls at the receptions, from designing our own wedding announcements, to playing wedding to actually following through with our dream...

GG has the best backyard for easter eggs. The kids were even more excited to find out that the easter bunny knew where she lived. The kids had the best time running around and finding all the fun eggs but they had more fun eating all the candy.

We got to spend Easter in Sierra Vista at GG Hammonds house and had so much fun. ian was a little nervouse that the Easter Bunny did not know where she lived so Saturday night he drew a map and left it on our table so he could find her house. The kids were so excited to see that the bunny found them. We did not want to overwhelm Grama with the insanity of 2 kids so the 4 of us got a hotel. It was the first time that the kids had ever stayed at one and they thought it was pretty cool. We had a lot of fun just visiting and playing cards. Thanks GG for the great weekend... and yes, i love Peanuts hair too, it was very fun trying to get her ready for church and get the mess to lay down!

Brians mom has been at it again. It is so nice that Darla loves to make holiday dresses and she does a fantastic job. Peanuts dress was a pretty lilac purple satin with this beautiful sheer and sparkly egg fabric on top. It twirls straigh open and she was definently a princess. She even got her first pair of HEELS to go with it. She looked adorable. I have a super easy tie pattern that i love to use to make Ian matching ties and he actually enjoys letting me dress him up to, plus who can resist a man in a suit. He is so handsom.

Peanut loves her baby so at 6 am fridy morning i decided to use the scrap fabric and make her baby a matching dress... and yes of course a headband!Brian would not let me make him a matching tie but he still looked cute to!

Baby is very active. He loves to do flips and trys to escape through my belly button regularly. The kids love to feel him kick and Ian got to enjoy 10 min. of baby having hick-ups and i got to enjoy a belly rub and a very giglly little boy.

After years of short hair i fianlly did it!!! 17 inches all gone and my neck now feels naked. It is a lot cooler and i am saving a lot on shampoo since we are swimming everyday. It took a little while to get use to but i think i am going to love it.

Renaissance Festival

We took the kids to the festival with Grama and Pa pa and they had so much fun. First thing when we got there ian saw the bungy tampolines and was brave enough to go on it. He did not do any tricks but he sure had fun. He did get a little scared at the very end when the guy pulled the bungy and bounced him at the same time - he went off of my camera screen so the picture turned out funny. Peanut got to wear her Snow White dress and felt like a little princess. Some of the Queens that were there actually asked if they could take the picture with her. We had so much fun. The kids favorite part was the "Wild Man Show", these to guys actually mud wrestle in a very kid friendly way. The kids and i sat on the ground in the front a good 10 feet from the show and at the end when they both jumped into the pool of mud - we still got dirty. They got their faces painted, peanut got butterfly wing eyes and Ian gtot a spider web with a big green spider on it. they got to do some archery also. The kids shared and ate a WHOLE turkey leg, drank lots of water, got lots of treats and were very tired that night. We got there at 10 and left at 6. Lots of fun!!!

My little boy hit a huge mile stone and has turned 5. He had a very fun birthday with lots of running arounds and friends. We got to hang out with Pa Pa and go to lunch. He is so excited to start school and got accepted to Eduprize which starts on ym due date. He is a great kid and loves to play. For his birthday he got a baseball glove, ball and bat so for his party we played baseball. Uncle Travis rented a bounce house for the day and the kids had a great time!

ITS A BOY!!

This first one is my favorite -baby giving a thumbs up! The ultra sound was a lot of fun - baby is not shy of his man parts at all. As soon as she started the ultrasound we saw 2 little legs, a bum and all boy - i decided not to share that picture with you, those of you who have seen it know why! He is a very PROUD and very active litle guy and i cant wait to meet him.

Mommy is feeling good - have some good days and bad days, still sick and peanut likes to tell baby to stop making me sick and be nice - she is the ruler of the house.

We were very excited that its a boy, another princess right now would be a little ruff but what a blessing to soon have so many preisthood holders in my home. I love my family - all of them - and cant wait for the new additions. The rooms are clean and organized, baby stuff is sorted and washed, crib will be here in 2 weeks and all we need is the baby... and diapers... and all the little stuff but that comes soon. Nesting is fun but the tiredness is starting to catch up!

Princess Tea Party

Peanut had a princess tea party with 3 of her little girlies for her birthday. They got here and got all the jewlery on that they could, then we made candy princess necklaces. The girls had wands and tiara's, played outside and had so much fun being girls. For the tea party they had 30 mini cupcakes that they ate in about 10 min., grapes, donuts and peanut butter snadwiches. They had some strawberry juice and loved every part of the party. They were such girls. i cant believe that my baby is 3. She got lots of presents and some pretty dresses but her favorite is her little nursery with the crib. Thanks to all the girls that made the party fun!

7 years ago today i married my prince. It was 75 degrees outside - our sealing was at 10:30 - the sun was shinniny and the room was filled with all our loved ones. I had the perfect hair and dress and he looked amazing in his Tux. We had a fun filled day ending with our reception where we danced and laughed with our all friends. Our journey began that night and it jas pnly gotten better. In seven years we have moved 7 times, bought 2 3 cars, bought a house, are expecting baby number 3, been in 4 wards, had 17 callings, and are happy. We still get the occasional datenight thanks to the awesome parents we have in both ends of town. Thanks babe for all you do!

After many weeks of wondering i am pleased to announce that there is ONE baby. Here is little baby tyler #3. Babies heartbeat was right were it was suppost to be, the child never stopped moving so we did not get to hear it a lot. Baby measured 1 week smaller than it should but everything looked good. the picture is kind of hard if you do not know what you are looking at but on the right is the head, then little arm and legs and on the bottom left the tiny hinny! Couple weeks and baby will have a name!

I love to have my kids match. Brians mom makes georgeous dresses and she actually enjoys it. She made peanut a beautiful christmas dress and she gave me extra fabric to make Ian a tie. The dress was so beautiful that i had to go get her some sparkly shoes and she wears them everyday. I love that she is soooooo girly! She loves to pose and sparkel and be pretty - Ian is just like Brian, he sits back and is just like whatever - take my picture if you want to...

Rain

It rains so seldemly that when it does we have to make a big deal about it. The kids were so excited when they heard the rain that they ran right outside, i mean immediately - peanut was in panties and a sweater. They played outside for about 20 min an then the rain was done.

Girls Night

Brian and ian went to a guys night so Peanut and i stayed home and had a girls night! We started with a nice buble bath and green mint face maskes, then we did loation and all the after bath stuff, Next we painted toes and fingers while eating a rootbeer float, started watching Princess and the frog... Peanut fell asleep at 7:30! It was a fun night.

We spent thansgiving with Brians family, there were 18 of us there. We had a good dinner and after the kitchen was clean we let all the kids decorate sugar cookies... it was a huge mess. We tried to get a family picture taken for but the sun was off and then we were off so we ended up taking lots of the kids instead... they are the cutest ones anyway.

Mom and I have been crafting. We made these wood 3 in 1 things. IT makes a Pumpkin, then Turkey and then Snowman. They were fun cute and simple. I also got new canisters and they were kind of boaring. I really wanted to play with vinyl on my cricut so i named the jars.

Our HOA does a lot of fun activities. At the begining of November they did a movie in the park night. There was a BBQ and Mrs. Clause was there with some of the elves. All the kids got to write a letter to santa and make a wish list that Mrs. Clause brought back home to Santa. When it was dark they did a projection of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and we sat on blankets in the park and enjoyed the movie.

I love cards! Homemade, handmade or created. I LOVE THEM. I love the different colors and fonts and of course the pictures, I love to see the happy faces and know that everything is right where it should be. i love to get mail and i love to see how peoples lives change! Halloween

We had so much frun trick or treating. Ian was Bumble Bee from Transformers and was all the muscels for us. He has mastered the art of transforming from a boy to a car to Bumble Bee. Peanut was our neighborhood friendly spider women. Actually if you ask her... she was a princess punk rocker spider women. She had some sparkly make up on, her huge Tu Tu and a cute headband with a little flower and a spider on it. Brian wore a shirt that said, This is my halloween costume. I was a vampire. We got to go with our friends, Hayden was woody, Katy and Maddy were witches and Ada was a cute little skeleton. She was going to be Tinkerbell but as soon as they were walking out of the house, she spilled soda all over herself so she was a skeleton.

Camping

We went camping with a bunch of friends. The Hymans, Nations and us. We left Thursday night and came home saturday. We had huge fires, lots of marshmellows and lots of good conversations. It was cold!!! The first night we froze and the second was better. I am not a huge camping fan but it was way fun!

At GG Hammonds

We went and saw GG Hammond for the weekend. We got there late friday night - woke up early, had a fantastic breakfast, went to KMart and us girls had way to much fun hitting up the $3 racks. Lot of cute shirt and skirts. Ian picked out a football shirt and some army pants. Peanut picked up some pink and black argil pants with a colorful and glittered batman shirt. After that we went to the cove and played hard. GG watched but wished that she had brought her suit to play with us. That night we went to a fantastic dinner, went to bed early and sunday just realxed. We loved playing with GG and wish that we lived closer!!

Screen Door

The kids love to play in the backyard pool. We put lots of bubbles in there and they played for hours - they also got a bath - 2 in 1 works for me.

The fridge makes a great marker board! Ian is become sucha good drawer and he made a train that went all the way across the fridge and down the side.

Peanut wanted me to rock her so i told her to sit in the chair and wait for me. When i came back 5 min. later, she was sound asleep.

PICNIC TABLE

So i have this semi cute little picnic table that just sits outside all lonely and never gets any love. It is either to hot to sit on, dirty, or the possibility of spinders deciding that it is there new home. I wanted to give it a make over and bring it in the house so my cute sister in law DAWN and i went to Joanns on a paper mission. This is what she helped me pick out and the project began. The kids LOVE it and sit at it for everything.

NAKED BABY

So i am tired of naked babies all over my house. First it was barbies and now it is dolls. Peanut said that her baby is a girl but she looks like a boy. She got mad whenever i put nutural colored clothes on her little GIRL so the sewing began. Lots of dresses, short, pants, skirts... the list goes on. The total was 20 outfits with possible mix and match. The Zebra pants and the Polka Dot pants actually match Peanuts pj's. When i was all done and cleaning up, Peanut said that she still loked like a boy so we did some headbands, painted her toes, and pierced her ears, now she never puts the doll down... MISSION SUCCESS!

FLOWER POT

It is to hot in Arizona for plants, plus the fact that i am really good at killing them... so i made my own garden. I love having the bright colors and it is very welcoming to my front door, plus i dont have to water them....!!!!

We went to Ogden utah for Fourth of July, It is Brian's Grama's birthday. We left Wednesday and came home Monday. It was so fun getting to see family and being complet goofs. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the water and with cousins and they loved lighting fireworks. The kids did great on the trip. We had a blast. The adult had to play a game where they put to M and M's on a pencil with strings on each end and they had to lift the pencil up with the Mand M's on it by the strings behind their ears. i dont think we have ever laughed to hard. Wonderful Summer Fun

We had to do something grand for the bopys for Fathers day since they out did there selves for mothersday. Us girls kindnapped the boys - well we blindfolded them and drove around in circles, mad ribs, mashed potatoes, vegies, salad, and lots of junk food. Did some chalenges, croket, ping pong, cupcake eating contest with no hands and timed diaper changing. We ended it with a game where you have to pick a sack up of the ground with your teeth, your hands or knees cant touch the ground, and then you tear the piece of so the bag kept getting shorter and shorter. They all got awards and were great sports.

The kids went to the dentist for the first time. The hygenist was very nice. Ian walked in and got x-rays and then she let him pick out a pair of sunglasses to wear durning the exam so the light did not get to him. He got to lay on a surf board and got to see pictures of his "shark Teeth". She let him hold the water hose and the spit hose and he loved it. No cavities. Peanut on the other hand, sat long enough to get a picture, went straight for the sunglasses, and was done.

Baby Shower

Fathers and Sons

Ian got to go on his first Fathers and Sons trip and loved it. They left Thursday and came home Saturday. Ian caught the most fish with his little Spiderman fishing pole and the men used it too! They brought home a lot of dirt and some fun pictres. ian asks almost everynight when it is time to go camping again.

I love to sew and i really wanted to learn new skills. I made 14 of these little dolls for people and for peanut. They were a lot of fun - i love matching colors and patterns and peanut and ian both enjoy plying catch with them

Mothers day

Mothers day was great - of course the men were in charge so they did not bring a camera but we did have phones so sorry for the quality of pictures. We celebrated Saturday night - we met at friends house and the men put little kids shirts of our heads. The drove us a couple miles to teh desert and had us hike up a little hill - flip flops and blind folds and a prego lady.... you can only imagine. When we got to the top they had a tin foil walkway with roses on it leading to a candle light dinner on the top of the hill - complet with Sparkling Cider. After dinner, and eating bugs, we got to all dance under the stars. I love Brian more and more each day and i am so glad that i have him for a husband and he is the best father to my children.

Thatcher temple

The family along with Mom and Dad Smothers got to take a day trip to Thatcher and see the new temple. We Met up with Mom and Dad Tyler, watched a movie about the temple and then got to walk through. The kids got to see all the little trinkets that were in there and got to count the oxen that held the baptisimal font. Even though they are still young to understand, they will get to keep the memories with them. We will soon have 3 temples with in a 3 hour area.

3 BUSY BUSY things

I have been very busy finishsing projects in and for the house. All of these were done before i broke my foot and actually had nothing to do with the breaking of the foot.

FIRST

I decided to build the kids a play kitchen. I sketched out a plan and me and Pa Pa Dan went to town. It took us 5 days, lots of sanding, cutting, painting and experimenting. The kids LOVE it. Total cost was $36 dollars, luckily dad had a lot of scrap wood. The kitchen sits in my kitchen and the kids go CRAZY when we all cook dinner. I worked super hard on it and got lots of slivers.

We are always ready for some Felt Food Lunch so come on over!

Day 1 - bulit the frame
Day 2 - sanded and sanded and sanded... added trim. sink and faucet... sink is a dog bowl
Day 3 - painted, added burners and nobs - the burns are cut out of wood and painted and the nobs are painted

Day 4 and 5 - wallpaper and modge podge, added window that grama painted... cupboards, oven with racks, magnent board and kids!

SECOND

Our downstairs bathroom was about as boaring as it could possible be... see picture...

so i GLAMMED it up... yes those are actual dictionary pages on the way. Did you know that you can make your own Decoupage... ya three parts glue - one part water. For the whole wall it took 14 bottels of $.64 glue. It was really easy - super sticky and took me two days. I never told hubby what i was doing so he was very suprised when i finally let him see.

Last and MY FAVORITE...

My best friend ever came to see me for 5 days, Tanya Robinson and Austin, and yes - we never took a picture of us together but lots of the kids. We played in the sprinklers, shopped, had Bahama Bucks, went swimming and played ALL WEEk. The kids slept great and Ian is still asking when his best friend will come back. I LOVE YOU SIS

I also painted our bedroom set a deep brown but no pictures... really not that interesting!

So i was snowboarding Mt. Everest bringing food and supplies to the needy in ALL countries when out of no where... you guessed it - A POLAR BEAR - he went right- i went left - did a couple back flips - lost him in an avalanch - and escaped... later that day - being Wednesday, April 14 to be exact... i was doing more HELPFUL and COURAGES stuff and BAM!!!!! i broke my foot! sorry for the crappy picture - my batteries in my camera were dead and my phone was on hand. This is Jake - he has been a member of our family for over a year. He is a very sweet puppy who loves kids and loves being outside. He is house trained and is very well behaved. He loves to run and play fetch. I am not a fan of dogs and Brian has been busy and Jake needs to find a loving home.

OK now imagine that you are once again a 13 year old girl - going to the beach for your first time...

Playhouse Bookshelf

The kids have about 75 little petshops that friends have given us - Ian always tried to make them houses out of legos but it never worked - Peanut has started this Barbie phase where that is all she wants - a friend of mine gave us a good amount to start and she still loves her babies. I was thinking of some way to make them a place house for all three things and this is what i came up with!!!

The little pets are set on top but i am still waiting for barbie stuff - if you know of any place i can get it cheap - let me know... the bottom i am going to make a baby bed and put a high chair. Even though it is still not all the way done - the kids LOVE IT...

haven't slept since saturday - Peanut has double ear infection, sinus infection and Pneumonia! She got sick last wednesday and for the first time this morning is actually feeling better. Ian woke up kind of horse sounding so we'll see how he feels in the next couple days. I want to sleep the day away!

Ian turned 4 on March 3. We woke up early, went to the docotor... 36 pounds and 401/2 inches tall. Then we went to breakfast at I Hop - ate a healthy breakfast - all the workers then brought him a BIG ICE CREAM SUNDAE with all the fixings and sang happy birthday, then to target where Ian spent his birthday money from Aunt Jan and bought himself 2 trains, after that we met up with Anna, Colten, and Addy Hunt and watched Princess and the Frog, For lunch the kids had Animal Crackers, Gummy Bears, Licorice, Popcorn, and Mints. The kids were VERY WIRED, we ended the night with some swimming, went to bed early and had a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Thanks to Anna for Playing with us!

Peanut got her first OFFICIAL haircut at the salon. She took about 2 inches of the bottom and evened it out. Hopefully one day she will have enought hair to do something with... i should be happy - she does have more hair than Ian had at her age...

We got a new van which means that i have more room. I folded down the seats in the back and loaded up Ians quad. We played at he park for 3 hours driving around the soccer fields and in the sand. Ians battery was all the way dead i had to drag it back to the car.

Broken Nose

On Wednesday the 6 - the kids and are were at my in-laws house p.aying and Peanut went to sit in one of the little blue plastic chairs at their house so she climbed on it and was sitting backwards on her knees when the chair fell over and SMACK - nose met corner of coffee table. I got up and crabbed her as fast as i could and when i got to her she was all white and blue from holding her breath to work up the scream. i yelled to my mother in law to get ice and Peanut sat in my arms and cried... end result - two black eyes - broken nose - swallen eye brow... pictures are from 2 days later.

Chritmas

The kids had a great christmas. Santa brought the kids quads and they LOVED them. Grama and Papa Smothers got the kids a bunch of fun things and made both the kids soft pillow and peanut a fun zebra blanket. Papa Gary made all six of the grandkids tox boxs and Grammy made the girls matching PJ's and Jumpers. They had a ton of fun and made out like pack-rats and had a blast.

Ian did a little Christmas Program at Preschool. They sang J.I.N.G.L.E Bells and Santa Clasue is coming to town, made snowflakes and decorated cookies. He loves school and is very smart. Peanut loves to feel part of the class and his sweet teacher lets her participate to.

Baby Diapers

Peanut is determioned that all of her baby dolls poop and pee and need their diapers changed and whiped. Her babies only have 1 diaper and she would not put it back on the baby cause it was dirty so i made her diapers for her baby. Every where she does she carries a baby, blanket and a diaper bag!
